Been having the same issue on chrome My computer force updated and my uBlock wasnt blocking any ads. I do have Chrome installed, but its extension-free. Im using the version from the Chrome store. Make sure it’s activated in the extension settings. Either way, uBO will eventually stop working on Chrome, so it might be a good idea to start getting acquainted with Firefox anyway. Maybe try uninstalling the extension and reinstall it. However (the new thing is) I can connect through Google Remote Desktop with enabled uBlock Origin on my notebook device. The same thing works in Tor Browser 13.0.6 (based on Mozilla Firefox 115.5.0esr). While uBO should continue to work until they remove Manifest v2 completely, with the introduction of v3 in 88, Ive seen reports of people already experiencing some issues - rollback seemed to help. Upward() does not work in the latest Chrome version.
